'Apart from apathy...'Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.' (Dr. Martin Luther King)

Over three years ago we wrote about what more recently, media is expressing as the 'culture of dependency', emphasizing a generation of people passing on a culture of welfare dependent government support, crime, inprisonment and lack of education as a social behavior that can be broken.
Unfortunately, since 2009 America continues a downward spiral with welfare and violence increasing at record pace.
As we have learned more through events since 2009, anyone should be able to connect the dots and see that everything is by design.
The Endrun Project began researching children in poverty as a precious yet underestimated resource for America's future. Behavioral cycles leading to the collapse of Wall Street and America’s economy must be broken, and a new generation of thinking and practices must be given in order to turn America around and back on its course of greatness and respect amongst the people of America and the world community.
Collective studies from researchers world wide conclude that the most limited yet precious resource for the future of America is not just children, but indigent children whose value has been overlooked and underestimated.
While many organizations world wide focus on children in poverty, programs for generations have failed to impact the causes that lead to indigence and generations of cycles that perpetuate poverty and indigent behavior and approach correcting the problem as an investment in America’s future.
The Endrun Project has learned through studies that indigent children are the most at risk for abuses identified by researchers because of vulnerability due to lack of resources, constructive support, as well as social and environmental conditions.
As a result of circumstances and conditions imposed upon indigent children through no fault of their own, equal rights and opportunities for higher education among other privileges enjoyed by more fortunate children are often times unavailable if not deprived.
Researchers worldwide are developing strategies for breaking the cycles of indigent behavior, to make way for indigent children to obtain higher education and knowledge that leads to ending generations of indigent behavior.
Certain indigent behavior results in patterns of dependency on welfare and other taxpayer paid support and a high percentage of incarceration which perpetuates the cycles by essentially rewarding the behavior. These cycles result in a liability and drain to the American economy.
By making the tools and resources available together with counseling, guidance and other support in paving the way for a better more productive future rather than throwing dollars to support dependency that merely enables the problem rather than breaking the cycles which cause the problem, indigent children and their families would be proud contributing members of the community and a strength for America’s future.
Economics of Education
Economic growth, National Security, well being ... many benefits can be enjoyed by a culture with the right priorities.
If we rethink investment strategy for strengthening America’s (Humanity’s) future we will find a huge resource with infinite rewards that will affect the security and prosperity of the world as a whole.
The joke is going to be on those who insist on looking for answers in all the wrong places or believe they already have the answers.
'The challenge is to get sheep to quit thinking and acting like sheep and start thinking and acting like foxes ...and time is running out.' [2010: Education Reform Part 2] 30 July 2010
3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist; 2 Timothy 4, 3-5
'...God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;' 1 Corinthians 1:27 King James Bible
As for those with a little sanity remaining ...just when things look like it couldn't get any worse (thanks to the 'conventional wisdom' of All the Kings Horses and All the Kings Men) ...there is still a place to turn if we have what it takes.
