Since first publishing this article in August, in the absence of leadership and lack of precise commitment by the United States concerning 'The Red Lines' clearly expressed to avoid a strike on Iran by Prime Minister Netanyahu prior to and at the United Nations General Assembly ...a new make sense beginning for Israeli-Russian relations is merging.

Few days ago, UNESCO was about to vote in favor of the latest ritualistic anti-Israel resolution, this time presented by the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan over the situation of the Holy places in Jerusalem.
The Israelis braced themselves for the inevitable automatic majority against them -- but not this time. It was Russia, of all member states, which pulled the chestnuts out of the fire for Israel.
The Russian Ambassador intervened, and the vote was delayed, at least for half a year, clearly with a view to quietly remove this artificial issue from the agenda of UNESCO.
The Israelis, of course, expressed their gratitude, and this is just the latest example of the ever- improving relations between the two countries, which until the dissolution of the Soviet Union were at constant odds.
'What seemed to be a diplomatic fantasy years ago seemed almost natural in May of this year, as the Russian leader inaugurated a stature commemorating the fallen Soviet soldiers in the "Great War" against Nazi Germany, many of whom were Jews.'

Insanity
This isn't about politics, ideology, philosophy or religion. The way things are shaping up ...Humanity is at about five minutes to midnight ...or in other words on the edge of oblivion, much of which rides on the region surrounding Israel and the existence of Israel itself, being held in the hands of a tiny group of global decision makers with conflicting interests.

No solution has come from all the kings horses and all the kings men for generations. At this juncture, every thing is coming to a head exponentially.
The only two choices Israel has if handled right are quick and decisive. Unfortunately, the worst case scenario cant be avoided by doing nothing.
Israel sees there is no time left for diplomacy and come November if Obama wins ...relations with The United States will only get worse.
Americans and all of Humanity deserve better than the malignancy at the controls of global affairs. Any hope for true peace will only come if the evil resisting Humanity's efforts is removed.
Rethinking the situation with common sense rather than failing conventional wisdom reveals solutions are closer at hand than a small few would want you to know.
As we watched the Olympics, the incredible Mars 'Curiosity' achievement and witnessed what mankind has the capability of doing together for a common goal ...if it weren't for a corrupt few ruining what Humanity could have without them ...imagine, if everyone had the opportunity to be free to pursue their potential.
A very sharp two edged sword
The road to hell is paved with good intentions ...(or at least what good people are lead to believe).
As pathetic as it is, what can lead to a third world war is ...now tied to November elections. When you drill down and connect the dots, global resources all point to the same bottom line.
The path Israel is being lead down, World War III will be the only outcome and all of Humanity is in the cross hairs ...unless!

Smoke and Mirrors
Another alleged 'leak' from the bowels of the United States discloses a scenario for US attack on Iran which was immediately distributed to world media.
An American attack on Iran’s nukes would begin with “hundreds of cruise missiles” meant to demolish Iranian air defenses, intelligence facilities and radar stations, Israeli newspapers report.
The missile barrage would be followed by a wave of bunker-buster bombs dropped from B-52s that would destroy the nuclear facilities themselves.
“After the attack, an ultimatum would be issued to Iran to stop its military nuclear program immediately. In return, the West would supply it with peaceful nuclear reactors,” the Tel Aviv paper Maariv reported.
The bombshell revelations come days after Defense Secretary Leon Panetta visited Israel to assure government leaders that the United States will protect Israel from Iran’s nuclear plans. Panetta’s revelation of the US attack plan was meant to dissuade Israel from carrying out its own airstrike.
Some Israelis believe that Obama was trying to make sure Israel wouldn’t attack Iran before the November election.
Of course no one knows more from experience and Mossad intelligence the inter-working of the United States and realities threatening Israel national security, than Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netayahu.
Israel has seen many dog and pony shows by the US particularly in more recent experiences since the Obama administration ...listening to Washington is like listening to Abbas with the exception that 'The West' as discussed herein doesnt want to lose a strategic foothold in the region as tenuous as it may be.
Even if an openly on again off again relationship were only a facade of disinformation to throw off the enemy ...at the end of the day Israel still has enemies on her borders in every direction.
“Obama will not attack Iran — never,” Netanyahu was quoted as telling Shaul Mofaz, the opposition leader. “In his second term, Obama will care even less about us than he cares now.”

As Israel remains under a constant barrage of rocket attacks from Gaza, Syria has removed from storage, its chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction which are so lethal ...there is only one weapon that will neutralize them and now they are within reach of Hezbollah or alleged Western backed Free Syrian Army any of whom will almost certainly use them on Israel.
Meanwhile Iran's president in a recent speech continues the call for the annihilation of Israel Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying;
“Any freedom lover and justice seeker in the world must do its best for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the path for the establishment of justice and freedom in the world,”
“It has now been some 400 years that a horrendous Zionist clan has been ruling the major world affairs,” Ahmadinejad said, asserting that the Zionists are “behind the scenes of the major power circles, in political, media, monetary, and banking organizations in the world.”
“In his bluntness, Ahmadinejad cuts through the false dichotomy of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism when he uses the term ‘Zionist’ to describe alleged Jewish control of the world for 400 years,” said ADL director Abraham Foxman.
“Ahmadinejad’s most comprehensive anti-Semitic speech yet,” Foxman said, adding that while the message itself has been heard before, Ahmadinejad’s words had “more ominous overtones and should be taken seriously as the Iranian regime continues on its march toward a nuclear weapon.”
Former Mossad head: Iran should fear next 12 weeks

Former Mossad chief's statement comes as Netanyahu warns time for diplomacy running out amid speculation an attack may take place before US elections.
Former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy added to speculation of an impending Israeli military strike against Iran's nuclear program in a statement published by The New York Times Wednesday.
"If I were an Iranian, I would be very fearful of the next 12 weeks," Halevy said.

Two options
Here at five minutes to oblivion - What could and what will happen ...unless in the heat of increasing concerns as evidenced above, a solution to resolve serious threats in the Middle East miraculously comes to the surface ...there lies only two options ...one of which, since this article was first written, as you can see from recent reports, may be taking shape.
All other options have been exhausted.

Amid accelerating violence in Syria and increasing threats from Iran ...the United States and Russia get closer to a confrontation in the region as Israel warns of time running out on a peaceful solution to Iran's nuclear program as Syria spins further out of control with chemical and biological weapons capable of endangering a wide area (including Israel) within reach and control of Hezbollah and al-Qaeda.
If not the reverse, where enemies of Israel attack first ...with well armed enemies gathering around Israel's borders while an increase of rockets from Gaza are launched into Israel daily ...and few options, despite decades of global effort to establish peace in the Middle East in the spirit of a greater good for Humanity ...whether right or wrong, the inevitable compelling of Israel to take preemptive measures into Her own hands in the name of national security would bring pause and justification to the global community ...for a time ... to rethink the State of Israel having a place in the developing New World Order ...and to arrive at only one logical solution from a progressive perspective...
Unless provoked ...having an elephant in the room isn't necessarily a bad thing. The Endrun Project does not suggest or imply negativity toward Russia.
For some time now, Russia has stood firm on Syria but with eagerness to end the violence from within the sovereignty of its own borders and without outside influence.
Few realize nor could understand Russia's concern and desire to put an end to the Syrian atrocities and bring long lasting stability back into the region.
In the eyes of the West and United Nations, Russia and China are hindering their efforts to control the Middle East their way ...thus demonizes the superpowers as aiding the problem in Syria and Iran ...but the dynamics of the geopolitics is much more complicated for Russia and China than simply bending to the international community. One miscalculated error can trigger a nuclear World War.
More than a conspiracy theory
Despite rhetoric and sword rattling ...there is a way to put everyone in check.
In a perfect world, mutually assured destruction has and continues as the major deterrent that has kept the world away from World War III which will be nothing short of nuclear war.
No one ..the West, Russia China Israel ...not even Iran with all of Humanity in agreement wants a nuclear war.
Even a wannabe 'New World Order' has no guarantee of survival in an unprecedentated nuclear exchange.
Setting aside bias and disinformation, anyone with any number of available resources anywhere in the world can confirm for themselves the ugly truth behind the scenes.
Both Russia and China with a collective capability of wiping their enemies off the planet (notwithstanding Humanity itself) ...are strategically aligned in the region with an openly stated stance to take on what they see as a corrupt 'Nazi rooted New World Order' (the same roots resulting in the deaths of tens of millions of people in WWII including 26,000,000 Russians, 6 million Jews, and countless Christians and dissidents throughout Europe) ... up to and including WWIII before allowing them to control the most strategic region on the planet and proceed with their corrupt agenda and continued destruction of Humanity.

Short of a strategic alliance with Russia aligning the nuclear superpowers of Russia, China and Israel absent Western interests as an end to the threats and instability of in the region as an absolute deterrent against aspirations of both radical Islamic groups to annihilate Israel and/or control by Western interests ...as depicted in Israel: 2012 Part One Where things go wrong and why!, what other options are available?
Is it possible?
With no one in the international community wanting to rock any boats with Russia and China now, clearly, such an alliance of all three nations would put the world, individual and collective enemies on notice and in check.
Anyone on the planet can image what would result from a challenge against such an alliance.
Without quick and powerful solution to the instability in the Middle East and threat against the little nation all the world is condemning ...Israel has little option but to stand alone in the interests of it own national security.
But... such is too easy!
None of the options are really appealing to me. However I can not see the leaders of Iran changing direction so an intervention is unavoidable.

Unfortunately we're all left with not much to work with. Its actually less dangerous in Russia than the United States so one never knows.
